Title: Volume change with 10 seconds left in track...
Post by: Dawgincontrol on July 07, 2020, 10:00:55 am
Media Center 26.0.98 (64-bit)
Volume leveling on

Have two "albums", both by same artist that when played in a playlist are fine until they hit the 10 second mark and then suddenly become louder.  Have one other track I've found, which suddenly becomes softer; again at the 10 second mark.

This only happens with the above mentioned tracks; all others play fine throughout.  When I play the complete album these tracks are in there is no problem; only if they are included in a playlist.

Have tried playing them in all the "Play In Memory" options, decoded, not decoded, and not played in memory.  No change.

I have reanalyzed them; no change.  Always at the 10 second mark and only these tracks, so far.  I am at a loss.  This just happened after the upgrade to the version above.

Any ideas?

What file format?

Any other DSP?

FLAC.  Using MC26 effects (living room, subtle) and MC26 equalizer, gapless.

Just reverted back to an earlier version and the problem is not there.  Went back way earlier to version 26.0.12 (64 bit).

Because it's so few tracks, I don't know how to troubleshoot.  The older version plays these tracks without fault, so it's not the tracks themselves.
