MC 26.0.98
Use case:
Videos with ASS/SAA subtitles are upscaled to 4k with RO HQ (no custom MadVR or LAV ... everything comes with MC)
Problem:
This is really weird one.
If I play 1080p video ... then ASS/SSA positioning is correct
If I play 720p video ... then ASS/SSA positioning is shifted up by 54 pixels (see attached) ... but if played this same 720p video on RO Standard - ASS/SSA positioning is correct (see attached)
PS. if you wandering if ROHQ really worth this effort ... see last attachment ... RO HQ vs RO Standard scaling from 720p to 2160p (dont look at english letters as those are subtitles ... look at japanese letters)

I'm pretty sure that madVR is moving them - but I can flag them as not movable and hope that it stops. But that also stops things like moving them out of black bars from working, since we can't differentiate between normal bottom-of-the-screen subtitles or carefully positioning things on signs. But I guess thats how it is then for ASS subs.

My bad ... after you mention possibility of MadVR moving it ... i went to check my MadVR settings (took some time as it is heavily profiled) ... and for resolution that caused the problem - sure enough [processing]->[zoom control]->[move subtitles] was ticked ... unticking it resolved the issue
Thanks for pointing me in right direction ... feel so stupid now lol

By the way ... thank you for new ASS/SSA subtitle engine ... it ROCKS solid ... ditched MPC-HC from my chain now :)

I'll flag ASS subtitles as non-movable anyway, the option should be able to be on for moving eg. SRT subs or such out of (or into) black borders, if so desired.

Because this topic, I just found out that JRiver fully support ASS/SSA subtitles.
I've been waiting for many years. This time to upgrade version^^
Thank you very much!!!
