Title: JRSS Mixing And 2 Channels with Center Channel
Post by: whoareyou on July 14, 2020, 07:50:13 pm
When 2 or 2.1 channels is selected with JRSS mixing there is configuration for the center channel (i.e. 0db, 1db, 2db...).
I can't seem to find this in WIKI.
Is this some kind of hybrid 3 channel mixing ?

Thanks

When down mixing to 2.0 or 2.1 from multichannel, the center channel is mixed to the left and right. The center channel level adjustment allows one to adjust the volume of the center channel before it is down mixed. This allows one to increase (or decrease) the dialogue in a movie that would have been coming from the center speaker. This feature was added one year ago.

25.0.78 (7/15/2019)

4. NEW: Added a center level selection to the Output Format DSP page to be used when in two channel mode.
