I've built a new computer to run the digital end of my audio system, and currently have both computers connected to the NAS on which I store all my music, so I can make sure everything is working on the new computer before I turn my old computer off and disconnect it. On my old computer I have multiple (around 100) smartlists, and I'd like to move those to my new computer, without going backwards and forwards recreating each one.
I realise I can export and import, but that only keeps the current members of the smartlist as an ordinary playlist. Is it possible to transfer dynamic smartlists between computers?
I tried renaming and moving playlistx.jmd, but that doesn't work. And I guess I could make up a big rtf document with each of the import/export smartlist rules, and recreate them one by one by copying and pasting into new smartlists, but as I have so many, that seems like a pain in the butt.
Any better ideas out there? I'd be grovelingly grateful.
