Title: Moving MC JRiver from an PC to another one
Post by: lzwerger on July 30, 2020, 05:54:49 am
Hello,
first of all, a greeting to all, it is my first post and for sure the topic has already been discussed, I hope to become more expert next  time and be able to find the answers myself.
My request is: I have to change my PC (OS Windows 10) and I want to bring all my data and configuration to the new one (always Windows 10),
I saved the library with the backup function, and I saw that other data such as the covers are in the J River folder (C: user - user- App data - Roaming - J river). So, I also copied J river folder to the new PC replacing the empty folder J River but I see that I miss some  Cover .. forget something?
Is there a more "automatic" procedure for not forgetting anything when moving?

Thank you

This should help:
https://wiki.jriver.com/index.php/Moving_Files

Check the setting for Cover Art in File Locations.

Read about Quick  Find in the Cover Art topic on our wiki.

Install the program, not just move the Program Files directory.
