Title: Choppy playback on a RTX 2080, icore9? [Solved]
Post by: clausdk on July 30, 2020, 11:26:13 am
Hi

Tried everything, but my playback speed is extremly choppy on my icore9 RTX 2080 decent HTPC!

I tried lowering settings, well basicly toggling everything on and off, but nu luck.

Playback is unwatchable :(

What am I missing?

Regards

There's some kind of bug in the RTX cards/drivers. The solution that works for many people is to reduce one of the MadVR queues to 1. I don't recall exactly which, but you could google it. Your system should be capable of very good settings without issues.

Try MC's video settings for Red October Standard and HQ.  Don't customize madVR unless you're able to deal with potential problems.  We don't support customization.

It's working quite flawlessly right now.

Turns out my PC was unpacking RAR files in the background, sorry!
