Title: Font size, icons and columns messed up after restart
Post by: boozemun on August 20, 2020, 11:09:16 pm
Not every time but many times when I restart the computer, the font size has changed to huge or teeny and the icons and the columns are all messed up too, it is so aggravating to have to change the font and icon size and drag columns around more than I even watch movies , TV or listen to music... that's pretty much all I do in Media Center is fix it so I can see what I'm doing.

I still have this issue, can anyone help or should I just give up on MC for good?

Probably no one knows what is causing it. There was a problem with the screenshots in your previous thread (no one wants to download and open a binary file just to look at your screenshots) so that also hinders things.

In a previous thread you were talking about a critical error, but your screenshot showed it was occurring during a remote control session. Remote control software can sometimes cause display anomalies.

And you said you had to get a third party program just to uninstall things.

You seem to be having a lot of problems with the computer. If I were in your shoes, I would consider reinstalling Windows from scratch and starting off clean. These are all unusual problems. Sorry.

I had similar problems when switched from 1080p desktop to 2160p. MC and Windows10 scaling didn't play so nicely together and I think that I at least had to set MC font sizes again. Don't remember if there was something else.
