I've been running MC with Linux on a Samsung Galaxy Chromebook which runs ChromeOS. It requires me to install manually using telnet and a shell prompt.
A few weeks ago, after a ChromeOS update, telnet stopped working. It showed a window that didn't look like telnet. It was blank and had no shell prompt. I searched several times for help on the Internet and couldn't find a solution.
What fixed it was enabling support for Javascript, which I usually keep turned off and only allow for sites I trust.
