Title: Albums / Playlists Stop Playing Until Screen Re-awakens

So, I've just purchased MC, but am having  this problem of albums and playlists stopping playing when the screen on my Mac Mini goes to sleep. The current song will keep playing when the display goes to sleep, but then it won't advance onto the next track. As soon as I wake up the screen (pressing the mouse or hitting the keyboard), the next track plays. Is this expected behaviour? I obviously don't want to keep my screen on full time...

Mac Mini 2012, MacOS High Sierra, MC 26.
