I have a problem and I have a solution, I don’t know if it is the best or the only one. Maybe this shouldn’t happen but it does.
I have my PC connected to my Audiolab 6000a with a digital cable. Some file are from SACD stereo + multi. I want stereo, not multi. I know the information (multi tracks) is there but I tried to delete and remove from play and the files keep appearing. I tried this in all SACD 3 or 4 times for now…
My solution is converting the files to flac and delete. Is there any other way?
And now a note:
Files ape + cue doesn’t work. Ape file is reproduced without problems and without tracks. To have tracks, I usually use Cue Splitter. It happened 3 times with different files, always ape + cue. As I wrote, this is a note.
Thank you.

Extract stereo DSF files using sacd_extract.

Thank you for the info. That's what I'll do, most of SACD are classical and it's surely much better.

If you need it, I compiled the latest commit of the sacd_extract fork I linked there.

I'd suggest to also take a look at the following thread:
https://github.com/EuFlo/sacd-ripper/releases/tag/0.3.9.3 (https://github.com/EuFlo/sacd-ripper/releases/tag/0.3.9.3)
There is a build of "enhanced" sacd_extract. Amongst improvements - support for long file names + bunch of other nice stuff .
Support for Windows, Linux and MAC

That's nice, but I'll have to see if the DSF issue with pops at track transitions is indeed fixed in that fork (like it is in the setmind fork).
EDIT: Indeed appears to be fixed, groovy!
