Title: Tagging Errors and Artwork Errors
Post by: Marpow on October 04, 2020, 07:23:39 pm
I paid and updated from MC26 to MC27. A few glitches but I now have MC27.
I keep getting tagging errors, if I change for instance Album Name> Santana to 4.0 Santana, i can do it but when I close, popup says there where tagging errors.
When I change artwork from file I get pop up says there were tagging errors.
The playback works perfect on the tracks, except some files won't install.
I am doing nothing different than  MC23 so wondering if it is a bug on MC27?

Are you tagging on a client?

I have now worked MC27 for a week. I use music only.
Tagging is not as effeciant as MC26, hopefully this can be fixed.
1. Column: Track, Name, Artist, etc works as I have set up, saved as My Preset, but does not stay aligned (space) to my preset. I have to constantly keep clicking My Preset.
2. Cover Art: doesn't stick right away when adding from file, eventually does.
3. Date Created Column: Through all my versions of MC this has been automatic but now is doing all tracks, to no tracks, to some of tracks. There is nothing I can do on my end about this.
4. Playback: Is good, no problems on any type file FLAC, WAV, DSF, DSD, whatever.
Is there any work going on in tagging, that seems to be my only issue

MC has an opton to auto-size columns.  You could turn it off.
