Title: Downmix 6ch dsd to stereo?

Hi,

Trying to play 6ch dsd on 2.0 dac setup.
JRiver says it cant play 6ch because my dac has only 2 channels.

Anyway to downmix ?

Yes, take a look at the Output Format module in DSP Studio.

It allows you to downmix multi channel audio to 2 channels using JRSS mixing. You can then also choose whether you want the result output as DSD or PCM.

You can combine this with Zones and Zoneswitch to do this automatically just for multi channel DSD if you like.  Google jriver zoneswitch to learn more.
