Title: Open Live Issue

I have the following issue with my rme card as described in the other thread

I haven't find a solution yet  - I also posted it to the rme forum - but also no solution.

So I had the idea to test the MC Function "Open Live" with my Mini DSP USB microphone.

I tried WASAP Loopback, WDM driver installed and looked in the DSP Studio Analyzer - empty, nothing is happening here and I also do not hear any sound.

What is the problem with Open Live and why does the simple microphone test does not work?

Both WASAPI Loopback  and the WDM driver are designed to capture audio playing on the PC from another application, neither are suitable for Microphone input.
ASIO might work with that, if your device has a driver for that, but I have no experience with that since no hardware.

I simply wanted to test the Open Live function because I could not get it to work with my rme card.

Is there a simple test case for testing Open Live?
