Title: incomplete album
Post by: zevele10 on April 14, 2003, 11:16:26 am
Would like to know what is an incomplet album according to the MC criteria........
How a full album with correct tags ,right tracks numbers can be in 'incomplete album'

And ,by the way ,not only one album  ,but quite a lot.....

The files need to be in the same folder on the hard drive and have sequential track numbers starting at 1.

I have the CD single "Tomorrow Never Dies" by Sheryl Crow.  This CD only has 1 track on it and is incorrectly reported as an incomplete album by MC9. Is there anything I can do to mark this as a complete album?

No.  In a sense, it isn't a complete album which is why MC is sort of confused.

Think of the album analyzer (album complete, mix album, etc.) as a handy feature that's right most of the time.  There will however be a few times when it isn't perfect.  Hopefully not a deal breaker.

Thanks!

Not a deal breaker at all......but I would like to see an options setting in a future release that allows me choose whether or not single track albums are incomplete. I have lots of single track albums.

Matt

Thank you!
The folder problem was the cause for most of the albums.
But i still have some albums se as incomplete ones  for no raison.
I mean albums with 8 or 9 or more songs , not single disc.

I do think there is a raison.
Who knows ,i may find out..
I spent hours and hours trying to find out ,but still no 'light'.

As you say ,  we can leave with it
