JRiver Media Center v27.0.26 will delay when using Chrome

Hi

I am using JRiver Media Center v27.0.26 right now.

And I found the music will delay when I am opening Chrome.

However, such an issue will not exist in other apps.

Is it a bug?

I've just checked that on my PC and opening Chrome had no effect on what was playing via Media Center. Were you opening a site that made heavy demands on the browser? Does the problem still exist after a reboot of your computer?

Hi,

Any website will delay the JRiver Media Center 27.0.26 via Chrome.

However, such a delay will not happen in Spotify or other music apps.

I had turned off the hardware acceleration, and the problem presisits.

Did you restart your computer, as I suggested? That fixes a lot of strange problems.

Hi

Thanks for the reply.

Yes, I reboot several times, and the problem remains.

However, Spotify and Windows Media Player will not have the same problem.

By the way, I just realize the delay will happen only when Open Chrome.

After Chrome is ready, the delay will become "ALMOST" normal. (I mean "slightly delay")

Are you saying that opening Chrome causes a short interruption in the music already playing via Media Center? I can't remember ever experiencing such an effect no matter what other apps I was using on Windows.

I suggest that you run Help > Benchmark... to see how well your computer meets the needs of Media Center.
