After every RIP or really just about any CD activity I get "Analyzing Device" and Media Jukebox starts not responding.
-
If you go to MC9, help and then system info you can post that vital info in your next post
-
Does it fully stop responding or does it just hang for around 20 seconds or so?
Because I've encountered that before and it usually unhangs after roughly 20 seconds which is I presume the time it's taking to analyse my device.
-
That is exactly what happens! The ol version 7, and 8 did not do this. Very time consuming.
-
Like King said, post your system info.
It definitely is very time consuming and VERY annoying I agree :)

I've just had something very similar happen. Here's what I did.
1. Inserted the enhanced CD "Say You Will" by Fleetwood Mac.
2. Clicked on + next to "Say You Will" then + next to "Data" then clicked on the Xtras folder. The contents of the folder were displayed correctly. I never displayed the contents of the "Data" folder.
3. Clicked on the "Data" folder and got the message box "Gathering Information and updating view". MC9 stopped responding at this point.
The same thing happens if I click on the + next to "Say You Will" and then click on the "Data" folder.
Here are my details:
