So I have a Media PC (running MC27)>DAC>Hi Fi.
Can I control what is played on that using my laptop (MC 27) ?
I have set the MPC as server and the laptop as client, but it is streaming from the MPC to the laptop.
Issue now resolved, the answer was 'there' all along. It never occured to me to press that 'there' button..
Now relabelled SMSL M400 (DAC).
Thank you.

When I had the TV on as a monitor that showed as 'there-LG TV'. The button above, just showed 'there' I guess it's obvious when you know, that this button is your DAC output.
In the same way that 'player' will stream from your server to your laptop and output sound through your laptop speakers.
If pressing 'player' would give the options of which device to output sound to, would be more obvious to a cabinet maker like myself.
