Title: Jukebox
Post by: moonshadow99 on December 09, 2020, 11:34:57 am
Is there a Jukebox feature on the (Audio) Media Centre, where it will play random tracks after it's finished playing tracks that you've requested until a time you stop it?

The Play Doctor/Radio feature basically does that.

They're not random though.  They're related to what you select as the "seed".  The wiki has a topic.

It would be quite simple to create a smart playlist that picks a bunch of random tracks

Unless you're not explaining yourself fully, this effect can be achieved now.

After you have added the "tracks you requested" to Playing Now, simply right-click on your randomizing Smartlist, and select "Add to Playing Now". The Smartlist will be added to the end of the queue.

The effect will be exactly as you describe: "It will play random tracks after it's finished playing tracks that you've requested"

My variant would be a button close to the stop/play etc. that would play a random selection of song from the library until you stopped the process. One button Jukebox.

Cheers.
