Title: Internet based files showing up in my Library
Post by: deuceadam on December 11, 2020, 12:20:00 pm
Hello I am using JRiver 26 but every time I open it up I have loads of files listed in my Library that are internet based or not on my PC, They play fine but they are starting to out number my own files! How do I stop this?

Those are Cloud shared files, I believe. In your Views you can exclude [filenames] that contain “http”
There might be a setting somewhere as well that allows you to exclude Cloud files but I can’t remember offhand how exactly to do that and I can’t check as I’m away from my server.

There are two ways to load a library..

1. From a file folder, or file share; in this case the location shows the file path.
2. From another Digital Media Server; in this case the location shows the http GET url on the DMS.

I suppose you have case 2 ??

EDIT: in which case, if you don’t want to see those files, then don’t load the library from that DMS. (You may also consider disabling that DMS from even running..)
