Post by: px2so on April 12, 2003, 11:00:33 pm
Is there a way to filter (or set critria) for view scheme to show songs depending on the location of folder they are in?

Hi,

several way you can do that :

1/ Using a Smartlist
in the Playlists tree RMC/Add Smartlist
Then in the rule box (next to the magnifier) just enter the folder name (e.G D:\Home\me\Music\Rock'n roll), that's it.

2/ Using a view scheme
in the Media library tree RMC/Add New view scheme..
In the search criteria box enter the folder name
You can then further refine viewing by specifyng additionnal component (Add)

3/ If you set up a smartlist for a specfic folder (see 1/) you can use this in a playback filter
Player/Player Options/Playback filter
You can then choose to skip or play songs in the specified folder.

In the hope this will help,

have a nice sunday,

Christian

could also use folder="" to display the contents of just that folder.
