Title: MC 26 installation problem

I have installed MC 26.0.107 on a replacement computer running Win 10 Pro 20H2, Ryzen 7 Pro 4750G, 32 GB RAM, 512 GB NVME SSD

Everything has worked just fine :-).
Every time that I launch MC 26, it downloads MC 26 and does a full install.
After each download and install, it functions just fine, but if I close the application, it then reinstalls when I launch it again.
Any suggestions as to how I can avoid a new install every time I launch MC 26?

You're probably running the install file, not MC26.

A New Year idiot: after years of using your product, I linked the Installer to the taskbar....
