I have the problem of subs not working correctly, while such as potplayer works just fine without doing anything while JRiver dosent recognise it/pick it up. The subtitles is in .ass format and I would like help for proper configuration

What version of MC are you using?
-
I´m using 27.0.43

You'll have to provide more details, as I'm not sure what you are asking about.
What exactly is happening?
Are the subtitles in the video file, or separate?
If separate, are the name of the video file and the subtitle file the same? What are their names?
Do the subtitles show up in the subtitle menu?
Can you load them manually in the menu?
-
The subtitles are seperate from the video files and both the video (.mkv) and subtitle (.ass) have the same name.
The subtitles do not show up in the subtitle menu and when I browse for subtitles in the menu and click on them no subtitles show up afterwards
-
Are you on the same machine? Or is it client/server?
-
Im using everything on the same pc.
-
Are the subtitles in the same directory as the movie? Are the movies imported in MC?
Are you using MC to select or a remote?
