Title: Refresh file
Post by: ajp_anton on January 13, 2021, 04:06:35 pm
Sometimes when I copy a new large file to a folder that MC automatically imports from, it will try to import it prematurely (or that's my guess) and fail to read the duration. What can I do to make MC re-read that file and update its information? Or is my only option to remove the entry from the library and manually re-import it (while circumventing the fact that MC doesn't really want to import already deleted stuff)?

Right click -> Library Tools -> "Update Library From Tags" should fix that.
To prevent that happening, you can create a Temp folder on the same volume, copy the files there, and then move them to the destination folder. This move is very fast since it's on the same volume.
