Bug report (minor annoyance):
I have an MC27 setup as a Client. It also has the default local "Main Library" which I use as a playground.
- open MC - it connects to the server library
- Switch to Main Library
- The dialog below pops up - It doesn't matter if you answer Yes or No, it still switches the library and everything works.
-
Same here.
If I click "Yes", box pops up about 4 times.... then opens Main library.
-
This still happened today. Server and Client on build 61.
Edit: Same with build 63.
-
Seems only to happen when the client is defaulted to an external library server and started up.
If the client starts with the main library as library, you can switch without any issues (version 61)
-
It was like that before as well.
-
- Windows 10 (64-bit), V 26.0.107 => No issues (Can't downgrade to a lower MC27 version.)
- Mac, Big Sur 11.2, MC V27.0.35 (64-bit). Same error.
- Ubuntu 20.04.1 LTS, MC V27.0.50 (64-bit). Same error.
- Pi4-8GB, Rasbian (Buster), MC V27.0.61 (32-bit). Same error.
-
I see this behaviour
-
@Matt, this still happens on 27.0.71.
-
For the next build we'll try this:
Changed: The "Communication with the server failed..." message will not show in the first two minutes after loading a library.
It just won't issue the message for a while after loading a library, and hopefully that fixes it. Please let us know once the build ships.
-
What about when the communication with the server actually fails? :)
-
This is now fixed on build 72. Thanks Matt!
