Title: Critical error message during update. Same after uninstall/reinstall

Hi all,

I have not started my machine for a while now. So naturally, MC27 has the latest update and I click for the go ahead. Downloaded the latest 270052-x64.exe and proceed to install per the norm. Unfortunately, it lead me to the critical page with advice of uninstalling the old version. Which I did. Still the error webpage will pop up whenever attempt to reinstall.
Tried so far:

- Uninstalling MC27
- Uninstalling MC24 (currently have no MC on laptop)
- deleted all JRiver folder in Program Files and Program Files (x86)
- retried after rebooting several times
- repeated download of 270052 and even tried with 270057 ver.
- searched for google and forum for similar issue

Appreciate any help at all. Thanks.

Additional info, I am running on Window 7 Home 64 bit OS

Antivirus?

Hi Jim,

No antivirus installed for the laptop. It is only for JRiver.
This same laptop has been used only for JRiver from MC 17, 21, 24 and now 27.

Try the 32 bit version of MC.
