Title: Innuos music players
Post by: Butters on February 03, 2021, 08:48:28 am
Greetings,

Can Media Center feed an Innuos music player?

I recently heard one of the Innuos music players, and it sounded amazing.

Up until now, I played my digital music via my laptop, running Media Center, feeding my DAC.  I thought it sounded very good (it does) -- but the Innuos player was simply better sounding, and decisively so.  The Innuos minimizes noise, interference, and provides a better clocked bit stream, due to it being designed with hardware and software to do only that, and you can hear the improvement.

But I love the seemingly endless flexibility with Media Center, and do not want to give it up.

Does anyone know if Media Center can be used as the front-end to feed the Innuos player?
Or, since the Innuos player's software is built around a custom Linux kernel, can Media Center be installed on the Innuos player?

Thank you.
