Title: Scheduler question -- set playlist *stop* time?
Post by: d_pert on February 10, 2021, 04:54:33 am
I've started using Scheduler and love it!

However ... is there a way to set stop time-of-day, not only start time-of-day?

E.g., if I have a playlist with 1,000 tracks, I'd prefer it not to play for weeks or whatever.

In my use case, I'd like to start play at 5:00 a.m. (which works great), but then stop at 8:30 a.m. Right now it's 'open ended'.

Thanks so much.

According to this page:- https://wiki.jriver.com/index.php/Stop_Media_Center_at_Specified_Time (https://wiki.jriver.com/index.php/Stop_Media_Center_at_Specified_Time)
It is possible though how you enter the stop time on a form that only has a "duration" is not explained.

Indeed. Also, the duration field is greyed out for me.  ?

I think you can simply add a second task for "Stop" at 8:30.
