Hi from sunny day in Lisbon! :)
Can someone help me, please!
In this view (Panes) organized by albums (best albums of the year) in year descending order, but the number of tracks played does not follow the same descending order.
As you can see from the photos in the attachment.
What am I doing wrong ?! or what needs to be done more.
Thank you in advance.

Anyone, Pls!

I created a view. I put it in album thumbnail mode and set this text:
[Name]
[Number Plays]
Then I set the sorting to be by Number Plays (z-a).
After that I see thumbnails sorted with the most total plays at the top.
So it seems like it worked for me in my tests.

Subway, you are selecting a sort in the "Set rules for file display" dialog. That sorts only files, not groups of files (albums).
Instead, set your sorting using the pull down menu on your tab by selecting "Sort by...Custom".

Thank you @wer
But still not working. (check attachement) Maybe i need to create a expression for gruop files [number Plays] like you said.
Thank you for your patience.

No, it works the way we told you.
You have some other problem. Show your thumbnail text expression and the Customize View dialog...
Or try creating a new view from scratch following Matt's instructions.

So, i did a new view scratch @Matt's instructions, it works fine over all years, but not for i single year.
I think where's no way out.
Thanks for your time

The problem remains in expression..
If i remove the expression works fine.
