Title: No sound - intermittent problem

I have recently installed a Focal Arche headphone amp. Previously I had a Schitt Jotunheim, which isn't quite as digital as the Arche, and never presented the following problem.

Far too many times I go to play something and can't get any sound out of the Arche, and the only way I know to correct this is to restart the whole computer - this seems to be a rather long winded way of fixing the problem.

I have tried changing across the zones (I have a zone for each Amp) but that does nothing. Close and restart MC - nothing. When this is in its "no sound" phase I can't get computer sounds out of it either, so I suspect this is not because of MC. Shutting down the amp and turning back on does nothing either.
