Here's a question about TiVo support... is there a way to get it to do on the file encoding of WMA, OGG, etc files > MP3 while you're streaming to the TiVo (i.e. on the fly)? I dont want to convert everything, I just want to be able to play all these files on my TiVo...

We hope to add on-the-fly conversion of formats in a release later this week.

How do you turn it on? I admit I spent only a couple mins checking for it...
EDIT: I should clarify... I saw this:
"33. NEW: TiVo server will translate files to MP3 format if needed. "...
so I had added some APE files to the share list. When I went to my TiVo it saw the folder with the APEs in them.. then each song showed up as it's own folder... but when I tried to play them I got "there are no playable files in this folder" or some such error...

There is a setting in Media Server options.
Try the TiVo instructions thread on this board.

Is this available for straight media server to MC client connections as well?
APE's do stream, but they don't stream well. If Media Server could convert to MP3 before streaming, that would be nice.
