Title: DSP Studio oddity
Post by: gilpou on March 04, 2021, 11:06:26 pm
Hi,

I have MC27, the latest build.  When I open DSP Studio, I do my things, and click the X at the upper right corner to close down the window.  But sometimes, I carelessly go further up and right and click on the X of MC application window, closing down MC27 altogether - no more music - that is odd.  The application should inhibit this accidental turn off when I open DSP Studio.

Please advise.

Thanks

No. DSP Studio is not a modal dialog. This means it does not block access to the rest of the application: you can leave it open, and interact with the rest of the application however you desire, and this includes exiting it.

The reason DSP Studio is designed this way is so you can leave it open to have access to be able to view the Analyzer or other panels or plugins while you are still able to control playback.

I suggest you aim your clicks more accurately. :)

If you have trouble locating the pointer, there are settings in the Windows Accessibility options to make it bigger, and other things.
