Title: refresh (f5) - what are the rules
Post by: ferday on March 25, 2021, 08:09:19 am
sometimes a refresh changes a view immediately, and sometimes it requires a restart (or even an import!)

what are the rules that allow F5 to work, and allow a view to change?

I guess you mean F5 for the browser? If so use CTRL + F5

no, sorry i wasn't specific enough

in a view, you can click refresh, or F5 and it will refresh the view to reflect any changes (i.e. files moved)

sometimes, a file leaves a view immediately after tagging/RMC operations, and sometimes there is literally no amount of time that passes that will push the file, only a restart or re-import will do it.  it's not a big deal but i notice it every time i have some hours worth of operations saved up, so i am curious if there is some foolproof way to make it happen faster than not at all
