I am running an older version (20.0.132)
I only use JRiver for audio.
Haven't used for several years, and am now several laptops later.
I did not backup the library but saved my playlists and retained the drive letter and hard drive clone .
However, playlists show nothing.
Is there something I can do?
I will gladly upgrade if that will bring my playlists back, but from what i can find out that may not happen.
I have searched around on this and it's pretty complex to attempt to resolve.
If someone can tell me how to proceed I will certainly appreciate it.
Edited to add: the information is there in the playist with a text editor, but when I open it in JRiver there is nothing.

Did you reimport your files? I would think the playlists wouldn't work if they didn't know where the files are in you library.

I have all of the files saved on a hard drive with the same structure. It's probably the same hard drive
Changed the drive letter on the drive to the same as it was (F:)
However, I didn't try to import the files to the current library.
Thanks for your reply, I will try re-importing the files to the current library.

Imported everything into the library. Now it's in the library.
However, saved playlists still do not work.
The Drive letter and folders are correct when opened with a text editor. The example below is from a playlist that my grandkids enjoyed
<MPL Version="2.0" Title="Cole Mason">
<Item>
<Field Name="Filename">F:\KnoxTn\Compilations\The Country Way Vol. 2\06 The Guitar.wav
It's the same hard drive that I originally pulled out of a box and am now connecting over USB 3.0 with the same drive letter
Surely there is something I can do to resolve this?

The wiki has a topic called Moving Files.
You could restore a backup. MC makes them automatically. Search for *.zip in Explorer.
