Title: Help! I'm too old to think.
Post by: Charlemagne 8 on April 04, 2021, 12:03:10 pm
I just turned 70 and it shows.

I bought a new computer for my birthday and now I can't figure out how to make MC work the way I want it to.

On my old laptop, I had it set up for whatever was playing - YouTube, Spotify, whatever - played through MC. I can't for the life of me remember how I did that.
I don't even know how to search for that in the manual.

MC is not even an option in Windows sound settings. I have downloaded, installed, and registered MC and have restarted the computer.

Can/will anyone help me?

Thanks, Jim.
That got me going on the MC end but I still have no sound, even though the IPC is going as it should.
I guess the next stop is HP Support.

Try the wiki topic on Audio Setup.  You may not have the right sound  device selected.

Check the volume settings.

@Charlemagne 8,
I am same generation as you.
I just bought a new desktop computer for my (un) birthday.
I used a Library Backup, and Restored it - it worked for me - but that not what you want to hear when yours is playing up something rotten.
Happy Hunting, Happy Listening, and Happy Birthday,
🎂 🙂
