Title: The application crashes while setting up Library

The application crashes while I am trying to set up Library.  It displays "The application was unable to start correctly (0xc000012d)" error message.  I have uninstalled it twice but I am still having the problem. 
My computer runs Windows 10.
I am using JRiver on my other computers without any problems.
Are there any fixes for this problem?
Can I get my money back?

Check your antivirus software, errors like that can mean it's being blocked by some sort of security software running on your PC.

I was able to install Media Center on an elderly laptop with no problems.  The computer that had problems with this program is about 8 months old, in terms of cpu power, RAM, memory, etc is pretty muscular.

It's almost always antivirus or drivers.
