Title: mc9 - media editor - wont save in win98

sorry, i forgot to check the box to notify me of replies to the previous problem: will you fix media editor so it works in win98 OS or not, is basically my question?

What version do you have?  9.0.143 is the most recent.

this problem was in early beta versions of MC9

I don't have windows 98 but it maybe fixed in the current version.

i downloaded the newest version 9.0.143 this morning and tried it out right away, so the current version it does not work in win98. to my knowledge, the problem in the earlier versions of beta was never fixed.  ken

there was one message that said (I think) you had to re-download the encoder and or make sure the encoder for that format was installed.

ME has not worked in win98se for a long time. Save as crashes and now in this version paste selection into the new file crashes.

The simple fix is to upgrade to XP.
