Title: CD-Text
Post by: I3akker on May 06, 2021, 09:32:26 pm
Hi,
I’m unable to get the track names on the burned CD’s. When I play the disc in my car I can see Artist and Album but the track names are just 01, 02, 03... etc. Is there a way to fix this?

I assume you are burning an audio CD in MC, then you play it it has no track information?

When you start the Burning processin MC there is a link in the action windows for Options. Click that before you hit burn, then in those options, then "Burn Settings". This presents a list of options and around half way make sure "Write CD Text" is ticked. Simple as that!

Hi David,
Thanks for the reply.  So I had check that "Write CD Text" was ticked prior and just double checked it. I am using MC 27 with Win10. Pioneer BDR-XS07UHD Burner and Verbatim CD-R discs.

When I play any of my burned copies I do see "artist" and "album" but no tracks titles still.

Also, when I click "Edit CD-Text" I only see the options for "artist" and "album".

What are you playing the disks on - not every player has the ability to display the track text?

CD Player in a 2019 Subaru. I have seen it display the track on commercially manufactured CD's.

I'm afraid I can't offer any more suggestions.
