Title: changing licence not working

I have purchased a version 28 licence I want to install on a machine running 27 with a licence under a different name.
When I reset the licence, I get a message that it was successful but when I return It still shows the old 27 licence under a different name.
SO far I wasted 3 restores on this. I went trough unistalls reboots etc. no success.

Please advise

Made another attempt after clearing registry entries ( I think )
same result. Still showing previous v 27 license  not my v 28 and, wasted another restore |

Will someone from J River please respond ?

Just wait until MC28 is released.

You have installed the licence for MC28 into MC27 so that when MC 28 is eventually released you can download it and MC27 will pass the licence details into MC28 allowing it to function properly. I remember once long ago expecting to see something change when I installed a licence for a new version and eventually twigged what the situation actually was.

Thanks for the reply but I believe you are missing part of the equation. The 27 licence was under the name :  "blabla"  the 28 licence under the name "cloclo"
after the upgrade I still see "Blabla" as if not taken into account !
And I have wasted 4 restores on this. please help.
