Title: JRemote with two PC's
Post by: garysummers on June 10, 2021, 08:32:05 pm
Hi JRiver Users,

I am trying to get the JRemote working on my two Windows 10 PC's. They are both running the same version of MC-27 (27.0.85-64bit).
The PC in the house had no problem and I got the ACCESS KEY with no problem. I followed the menu steps as described, "TOOLS"-"OPTIONS-"MEDIA NETWORK". The PC in the car does not show the final menu choice, "Media Network".
I have attached screenshots to show what I am finding. Any idea how to get this going?

Thank you for any help!!
All the Best

After much reading and searching I think that "Media Network" is not turned on on the car PC.
After more reading and searching I cannot figure out where I would go to turn it on.

Any help appreciated!

I removed the screenshot that showed your Access Key.  Don't publish it.

What is Aural Vision?

Thanks for removing that. Not real clear on all the rules!

Aural Vision is a trademark I own. It is a prototype design for High Resolution 5.1 Automotive audio system.
I have filed a patent relative to certain aspects of the system design. My goal is to partner with an automotive manufacturer.
I have built a "Proof of Concept Prototype" vehicle for demonstrations. Running JRiver as the music player. Using VST plugins.
Short teaser attached.

All the Best,

GS

Thanks.  Media Network should be available as one of the categories.  Check to make sure you haven't turned it off in Tools > Options > General > Features.

Thanks Jim
That was it. Works great!
The JRemote makes doing the demonstrations much easier.
