Title: Does JRiver's DSD output encoding support 3.072 MHz DSD64?
Post by: zmz125000 on June 12, 2021, 08:01:52 am
Hi,
When I use output encoding with 44.1khz derived audio I should be fine since 1xDSD use 2.8224 MHz base, but if I apply output encoding with 48khz derived files would I get SRC artifacts?

In another words, does JRiver's output encoding support 3.072 MHz DSD64 for 48khz files?

Thanks.

DSD64 is always 2.8224 MHz, a deviation from that is not possible.
Modern resampling methods do not have any problems (or even differences) resampling from either 44.1 or 48 to the DSD rate.
