Hi,
I'm trying to install MC 28 as upgrade of MC 27.0.85.
S.O. Windows 10 Pro, my music files are on a NAS and MC 27 use with no problem.
When I try to upgrade to MC 28, the program starts but it transfers all my music files on local C:
Where is the problem? Where is my error?
Thanks

In MC28, try restoring your library backup from MC27.

I will move this to a new thread. In MC28, try restoring your library backup from MC27.
the problem is that the music on the NAS is a lot and on the local disk it doesn't take more than take many hours to transfer it!
How can I do?
Thank you

A "Library" in JRiver Media Center can be thought of as a database that stores the settings, playlists, views, etc. A Library does not store the actual media files, though. So, when you backup/restore a Library, think of it as saving/reloading the settings from before.
Since the music files themselves are not stored in the Library database, there is no need to worry about taking hours to copy the music to/from the NAS. The Library database itself is usually very small compared to the music.
