Is there a function to download youtube-videos now?

Unfortunately no, and I'm not sure if such a thing is possible since the embedded Edge is just using WebView2. To download YouTube videos you should use an app like youtube-dl.

I use this application will download Youtube music video up to 4K and the audio up to 320BPM MP3.  Its not a built-in feature but you can create a link that will activate the program passing the URL to the specific video from your saved tags
