Post by: chriswa on June 27, 2021, 01:13:06 am
HI, after updating to mc 28 the app crashes after a few minutes, previous versions are working fine on the same machine. I attach a log, perhaps someone can read this and help me out.         Thx

It appears that this file:
/Volumes/music/Outlaws /In The Eye Of The Storm (Vinyl)/09 - I'll Be Leaving Soon.aiff
Is corrupt, it's crashing the Analyzer on Auto Import reading the metadata.
We may have found a way to handle that. You can wait for the next build to find out or send me a copy of that file to test with
bob (at) jriver (dot) com.

Thanks.

Just uploaded build 32. Would you give that a try?

Thanks, the update solved the problem.
How did you identify the file that was causing it?

Thanks, the update solved the problem.
How did you identify the file that was causing it?
It was the last file in the log analyzed before the crash and the apple dump gave an approximate area of the crash.
