Just installed MC 28 and need to do the above.
-
What I am looking for are the intructions to set up JRemote for iOS for MC28.
Thanks

I found the instructions. I went o Access Key in the Wiki.
But I can't connect using the new access key. I get an error connecting.
-
In the Media Network settings, there is a test function.
The wiki also has a topic called Network Access (http://wiki.jriver.com/index.php/Network_Access).
Make sure the server is running and that Media Network is enabled.

Media Network Server IS running.
I had a look at the Network Access (http://wiki.jriver.com/index.php/Network_Access) Wiki but that doe snot help me.
I am useing the exact same settings as I was on MC 22 (Except for the new access Key) but I still can't connect. My my iPhone and MC are both on the same LAN.
I would like to get this fixed otherwise there was no point in me upgrading to MC28. MC 22 worked just fine for me previously.

Firewall?

Firewall??
Ok, if that is the case how do I find out if its the Firewall? How do I change the settings in the Firewall? (I have read the wiki and its not exactly easy to follow)
The only reason I updated on this occasion is for the extra band EQ, no other reason.
Thanks for your help.

Ok, I fixed it.
Deactivated the Firewall, connected to MC 28, then had to reactivate the firewall and add MC28 as an exception.
I still hate upgrading. If it works....Dont fix it... is my motto.

Blame Microsoft. It's not a JRiver problem.
