Is there a way to have JR automatically go through my entire library and convert all ape files to flac, and then delete the resultant obsolete ape files? I have looked and looked and can't seem to find a way to do this.
Any help would be appreciated.

Search for FLAC, select a few to try it, right click > convert. Read carefully. This is covered in the wiki.

Thanks! Do you mean search for APE?

Probably. ;)
Whatever the source is.

No good - I picked 12 files of an album. Selected convert, FLAC. Process hung at "Converting 12 of 12 files" Conversion screen shows completed but the files were not renamed but all are marked converted. The library and the album directory now have both APE and FLAC files in them.
MC27. Would you please test in MC28 and let me know if this is a bug?
Thanks!

There are settings for details, presets and options in this process to get it to do what you want.

Found it. BIG thanks! 👍
Would be great if the options dialog popped up when a conversion was selected.
