Title: Deleting corrupt YADB-retrieved track info
Post by: bicus on April 02, 2003, 12:34:53 pm

Hi there

Just getting to grips with MC 9 - top product! - bu hve a small problem that would appreciate help with.

Ripping a bunch of CDs into MP3, and YADB retrieved corrupt info for one of them (track numbers are shown in the artists column, artist in track name, etc).

Please could you tell me how I can delete this corrupt info from the database and re-enter the correct info.

Many thanks

Mark

what version of MC9 are you using? if your not using the current cersion upgrade to 9.0.141

there was a bug in an older version that did this.

if your using a new version maybe it is a new bug....

Yeah, I've had corrupt data from YADB too.

It looked up Röyksopp and returned dodgy data for his songs.

In the left window click on "CD & DVD". There you should find the corrupt entry. Right click and "Delete". Reenter the CD. That's all.

I'll be working on this soon I hope. In the meantime, post the bad data here (enough that I can find it) and submit correct data .

Thanks,
