I've upgraded from JRiver 25 to find out that the new version has a new 20 band EQ, but to my surprise it sounds bad when choosing Rock.
I tried it with speakers and with headphones.
I'm the only one that thinks that?

What is the full version? What kinds of files? Please describe your audio setup.
Some bugs were fixed in early builds. Search for equalizer here:

Yes 20 band, sorry for saying 10 band, windows version 28.0.32 64bit
All music (flac, sacd)
Windows 10 x64 Pro 20H2 (19042.1110), Sound Blaster AE-9

Try installing 28.0.44.
Try only standard FLAC.
What is the audio setting. Try Direct Sound and others, just to test.
-
Here's the Soundblaster AE-9 (https://us.creative.com/p/sound-cards/sound-blaster-ae-9).
If you have another device, try it, just to see if it makes a difference.
-
I tried using direct sound, ASIO DSD, ASIO, my audio settings are 24 /192
I also tried with the audio output from my Shure MV7 and same problem.
Where can I download version 28.0.44?
-
Go to Help>Update Channels and change the Update to "Latest (may be less stable)" so it will find it.
Then Help>Update Channels>Check for Updates
