Title: Some Files Won't Import

Question 1:

I have a few MP3 files in D:\MP3 Files that just will not import. I've tried version 28's Tools > Import > Import single folder... but those files will not import into the MC database. The first image shows that the files are indeed listed in Windows Explorer and the second image shows that they are NOT listed in MC.  The missing files are:

al-Qahirah - Shek - 666 - Introducing the Ney.mp3

and

Ambiant Otaku - Inoue files 02 through 05

What am I doing wrong?

UPDATE:

I might add that if I click on one of those files in Windows Explorer and choose to play it using MC, the file plays, but it still is not listed in MC's file listing.

Drag the files from Explorer into Playing Now.  Do they appear?

If so, right-click and pick Import.

If not, please provide a copy to matt at jriver dot com.

Yes, when I dragged them into MC I could then see them in MC.

But more importantly, why won't they import using the Import function?

I've had this problem since version 21 (and probably for a long time before that).
