Title: Windows WDM Driver not working? [Solved]
Post by: samtheman57 on August 02, 2021, 09:56:16 am
I recently reinstalled MC 28, and I wanted to use the audio engine in MC for You Tube etc. I navigated to Tools> General>Features and checked WDM driver.

Closed the program and restarted it, still no joy after a couple of attempts.

I know it worked before, just wondering if I'm missing something.

Oh, Thanks, for all the AWESOME Cloudplay contributions.

After you've enabled the feature, can you see the JRiver Media Center 25 sound device?
And do you have it selected as the default sound device?

When you're intending to enable/disable the WDM driver via toggling the WDM driver checkbox, you should try running MC28 as an administrator while doing it.

Thanks for the replies!

stewart_pk nailed it, I had my USB DAC selected as the default sound device instead of J River Media Center.

I recently had to reset Windows 10 after a power and ISP outage so I had to reinstall MC 28, it was a long time ago that I had it set up this way.

Thanks for the help, and again, Cloudplay!
