Q: I need to restore my license or I lost my license.
A: Version 8 and above work with a license called a Registration Code. This is a 30 character string and you will have received it in e-mail (from buy-button @ jriver.com) together with instructions on how to use it.  It can be used to generate a new Install Key up to 10 times in each twelve month period, beginning on the date of initial purchase.  Each new Install Key is good for two weeks.

It's 10 times per year. Each time is good for 2 weeks. You have a 30 day trial.

So you could go 44 days between each restore. 44 x 10 = 440. There is only 365 days per year. Did I do the math right? What's the problem again?  :P

That's ten times per year.

And was it the companies fault that you had to reformat? There are clear and definitive instructions on how to use the restore procedure.

My worry is, if there is a National Disaster and JRiver's servers goes down (I am not pessimist). What we would do to restore MC?. No way, Jose. This restoration procedure is kind of subjective.  :-[

JimH should have a customer's list somewhere in his bunker. You know, those printed in a dot matrix printer. I hope the ink cartridge is not generic. :-/

I only Ghost about a 2.5 gig snap shot and always reinstall, the programs i want back on, off one of my other 3 WD drives, one moth i may be leaning more towards music editing, the next month i may do allot of vidioe editing it all depends on what mood im in, My problem is Im addited to Reformatting, Its like taking a bath it washes all the crap away, and brings eveything back to it purest state-PEACEOUT ;D
